We are revisiting an old favourite technique, that of FoldForming. Whilst this project goes over some of the basic forging techniques such as anticlastic, this project is the starting point for making spiculums.

The definition of a spiculum is a sharp pointed object or dart. Knowing how metal moves in relation to its thicknes and how it’s moved helps in making these shapes. They can be very ornamental and even curved and spiraled. This project shows you the starting point and then later on in the series we will be showing how to alter the thickness of the metal and making these fascinating shapes.
